CHAMBER TEAMS UP WITH GLOVES 4 TROOPS
The Greater Egg Harbor Chamber is thinking spring and hoping to brighten the lives of our service men and women by teaming up with Gloves 4 Troops, an organization that ships baseball gloves, balls and letters of encouragement to American service personnel stationed across the globe. Gloves 4 Troops was started by Vance Albitz, a second baseman for the AAA St. Louis Cardinals affiliate, Memphis Redbirds and over the past two years the organization has sent thousands of gloves overseas.
Drop off locations are Simply Sweet 132 Philadelphia Ave Egg Harbor City, the Offices of Century21 Frick 117 West White Horse Pike Galloway and Casciano’s 212 Bellevue Avenue Hammonton or at the Hammonton Mothers Club 5K Race on May 3rd. Gloves, baseballs and letters of encouragement can be dropped off at the business locations any time until Memorial Day weekend. The gloves can be new or used condition.
